Farr has spent the last four years as the head of the Heathwood Hall baseball program, helping to revive it as a respected program in the SCISA ranks.  Prior to his coaching career Farr prepped at nationally ranked Brookland Cayce high school before going on to a record breaking career at USC Aiken.  While at USCA Farr twice garnered All-American honors and Academic All-American honors, was the Peach Belt Player of the Year, South Atlantic Region Player of the Year and was named the 5^th highest MLB prospect at the Division II level by “Baseball America.” Farr left USCA sharing or holding 15 offensive records including setting new conference marks for highest batting average in a season (.483) and career (.420).  Farr signed a professional contract with the Cincinnati Reds in 2004 and played two seasons professionally before a knee injury pre-maturely ended his career.  Farr will be inducted into the USC Aiken Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012.
