Farr has spent the last four years as the head of the Heathwood Hall baseball program, helping to revive it as a respected program in the SCISA ranks.  Prior to his coaching career Farr prepped at nationally ranked Brookland Cayce high school before going on to a record breaking career at USC Aiken.  While at USCA Farr twice garnered All-American honors and Academic All-American honors, was the Peach Belt Player of the Year, South Atlantic Region Player of the Year and was named the 5th highest MLB prospect at the Division II level by “Baseball America.” Farr left USCA sharing or holding 15 offensive records including setting new conference marks for highest batting average in a season (.483) and career (.420).  Farr signed a professional contract with the Cincinnati Reds in 2004 and played two seasons professionally before a knee injury pre-maturely ended his career.  Farr will be inducted into the USC Aiken Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012.
